Don’t let the odd middle name put you off. It’s the one I was born with, which makes me somewhat reluctant to give it up. To those who know me, I’m just Deb.
I am a professional writer and editor with experience in newspaper and magazine writing, editing and management. My published work has embraced a range of subjects, from home design and architecture, to history, family life and business, and includes traditional newswriting, feature articles and essays. I am currently Connecticut editor-at-large for New England Home magazine and write regularly on architecture and design. I also hold an MFA in creative writing and teach at several southern Connecticut universities.
Whether you’ve found my site through search or serendipity, I’m glad you’re here! I invite you to find out more about me, peruse samples of my work and of course reach out should you have any questions, comments, or work you need done. You’ll find me an efficient, versatile writer, an able collaborator, and a supportive coach for those hoping to discover their own voice.
